AMORIM CORK INSULATION SHOWCASES ITS NEW WAVE FACADE COLLECTION AT CONCRETA EXHIBITION

November 17, 2015

This solution combines insulation and design and will be unveiled at an innovative stand

Amorim Cork Insulation (a member company of the Corticeira Amorim group) is a company dedicated to the production of expanded insulation corkboard. Our company will once again be present at Concreta, which will run from 19 November to 22 November 2015 at Exponor (Oporto International Fair) to showcase its new WAVE FACADE collection for wall covering. Amorim Cork Insulation' presence at this important event designed to promote construction, building rehabilitation, architecture and design is considered to be a strategic initiative as CONCRETA is an ideal platform for showing the latest innovations and the world's most sustainable insulation solution.

Thus, in addition to showing the main products that make up the company's portfolio focusing on products for the rehabilitation of buildings, Amorim Cork Insulation will showcase innovative concepts combining design and insulation at CONCRETA 2015, including the WAVE FACADE solution.

Taking advantage of the characteristics of expanded insulation corkboard - excellent thermal and acoustic insulating properties, durability and high versatility - WAVE FACADE is a wall covering solution that combines design and technical performance and is suitable for both interior and exterior walls.

And although the solution has been available on the market for some time now, the novelty at CONCRETA will be the launch of an innovative WAVE FACADE 2015/2016 collection that is displayed in multiple stunning visual layouts designed by architect José Pedro Sousa (FAUP (School of Architecture at the University of Oporto) / DFL (Digital Fabrication Laboratory), who has also been involved in the design of the stand, which had the support of CEAAD - Advanced Study Program in Architecture and Digital Technologies.

Similarly to what has been observed in previous exhibitions, it is very likely that the disruptive characteristics of Amorim Cork Insulation' stand (portraying the outline of a cork oak - Portugal's National Tree) will become a focal point of interest at CONCRETA.
